Acceptable Use Policy (AUP)

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all services, systems, automations, hosted platforms, AI solutions, integrations, workflows, and infrastructure provided, managed, or hosted by DCS Digital Limited (“DCS Digital”).

Clients must ensure that their use of DCS Digital’s services complies with this AUP at all times.

2. Prohibited Activities

Clients must not use DCS Digital services to:

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation.
  • Infringe the intellectual property rights of any third party.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, ransomware, spyware, or malicious code.
  • Gain unauthorised access to systems, networks, accounts, or data.
  • Conduct phishing, fraud, scams, or deceptive activities.
  • Process or distribute unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory, or abusive content.
  • Send unsolicited bulk communications (“spam”) in breach of applicable laws or platform policies.
  • Circumvent security controls, rate limits, licensing restrictions, or platform safeguards.
  • Interfere with the operation, performance, or security of any service provided by DCS Digital or its suppliers.

3. Artificial Intelligence and Automation

Clients remain solely responsible for:

  • The legality, accuracy, and suitability of data submitted to AI or automation systems.
  • Reviewing and validating AI-generated outputs before use.
  • Ensuring that decisions affecting individuals are appropriately reviewed by a human where required by law or good practice.

Clients must not use DCS Digital services to:

  • Generate unlawful content.
  • Generate content intended to deceive, impersonate, defraud, or mislead others.
  • Train or fine-tune AI models using third-party confidential information without appropriate rights or permissions.
  • Process data where the Client does not have a lawful basis to do so.

4. Data Protection and Confidentiality

Clients must:

  • Maintain appropriate permissions and lawful bases for all data supplied to DCS Digital systems.
  • Take reasonable steps to protect account credentials and access controls.
  • Promptly notify DCS Digital of any suspected unauthorised access or security incident involving DCS Digital services.

5. Hosting and Infrastructure

Where DCS Digital provides hosting or managed infrastructure, Clients must not:

  • Use services for cryptocurrency mining.
  • Host illegal content.
  • Host content intended primarily for file sharing, piracy, or unlawful distribution.
  • Consume excessive resources in a manner that materially impacts other customers or service availability.

DCS Digital reserves the right to implement reasonable technical controls to maintain service stability and security.

6. Third-Party Services

Many DCS Digital solutions rely on third-party providers including cloud hosting, AI model providers, communication platforms, workflow engines, and software vendors.

Clients agree to comply with any applicable third-party terms where those services form part of the solution delivered.

7. Enforcement

If DCS Digital reasonably believes a Client is in breach of this AUP, DCS Digital may:

  • Require the activity to cease immediately.
  • Suspend affected services.
  • Remove offending content or workflows.
  • Terminate services in accordance with the applicable agreement.

Where practical, DCS Digital will provide notice and an opportunity to remedy the issue before taking action.

8. Changes

DCS Digital may update this AUP from time to time. The latest version will be made available upon request and will apply from the date of publication.
