Remote Freelance WordPress Specialist

About the role

We are on the hunt for an experienced freelance WordPress specialist who will be able to help out with ad-hoc tasks from clients as they come in. You will have an exceptional grasp of HTML and CSS, and be capable of planning out custom post types to deliver bespoke functionality for our customers.

We make heavy use of Elementor, and follow a ‘no-code’ approach so that clients can easily manage their own websites without having to rely on us for each update.

About the Candidate

The successful candidate will be:

• Passionate about WordPress
• Confident with Custom Post Types and plugins such as Advanced Custom Fields
• Able to solve complex client requirements using abstract thinking
• Adept at gathering and interpreting requirements
• Able to deliver work on time and to the standard required
• Passionate about learning new skills and experimenting with new tools / concepts
• Focused on the detail

Requirements

• 5+ years of WordPress experience
• 5+ years of CSS and HTML experience
• Experience with working with page builders such as Elementor
• Experience with plugins such as Woocommerce and Advanced Custom Fields
• Have a portfolio of work

Desirable

• Experience with the Crocoblock suite of plugins, particularly JetEngine
• Ability to code PHP and Javascript
